What is the Seasonal Convenience Plan?

Our Seasonal Convenience Plan was designed for XFINITY customers who are part-time Florida residents. It allows you to put your XFINITY services “on vacation” while you’re away from Florida – at reduced rates.

How does the Seasonal Convenience Plan work?

You can put your XFINITY service on hold from 90 to 215 days – with no reconnection charge and no service call needed when you return. This is one of the great benefits of the Seasonal Convenience Plan. You’ll enjoy the convenient, no-waiting, hassle-free method of having your XFINITY services activated at no extra cost before you return. You can even keep your equipment in your home while you’re away. And, there’s no need to contact us to resume your service, making it one less thing to do when you return to Florida.

Who is eligible to enroll in the Seasonal Convenience Plan?

Any XFINITY customer who is a part-time Florida resident is eligible for the Seasonal Convenience Plan as long as their account is current and there are no outstanding charges and it has been at least 12 months since their last seasonal enrollment.

How do I pay for the Seasonal Convenience Plan?

Enrollment is free. You just pay reduced rates based on your service level. We will continue to mail monthly statements to your designated address.

What if I have an HD Set-Top Box or a Digital Video Recorder (DVR)?

If you wish to keep your HD Set-Top Box or your DVR in your home while you’re away, you’ll be charged the applicable monthly rate per box, per month.

What if I don’t want to put my equipment on the Seasonal Convenience Plan?

Just return any unnecessary equipment to one of our lobby locations and your Seasonal Convenience Plan will reflect your remaining service level.
